Thanks to a tip I received from a student of my Inkscape Master Class, apparently Inkscape won’t recognize a font that’s only installed for one Windows user - it has to be installed for all users.
In order for your newly installed font to populate in Inkscape, you have to close out of the application and reopen it. The reason why your Inkscape fonts are missing could be because you haven’t restarted the Inkscape application since installing them. If you put the logo on the internet, for example, the text would be missing. (Flowed text is really only visible in Inkscape. Later, you can move it to wherever you want it. Install optional fonts manually without changing language settings: If you want to use fonts in an optional feature but don't need to search web pages, edit documents, or use apps in the associated language, you can install the optional font features manually without changing your language settings. This is thanks to a recent Windows update. To create regular font, just click once on the canvas, and start typing. I need a way to make the Century Gothic font work on Linux. However the website will be run on Linux and since Linux does not have the font Century Gothic, it looks really bad.
